Morristown, NJ Educator, Non-profit Executive, and Community Leader, the late Linda D. Murphy, was the inspiration for ETV’s Village Strivers program. She brought her passion and commitment to youth to ETV, where she was instrumental to the vision and direction of our Village Strivers program. ETV is proud to have created The Linda D. Murphy Village Strivers Scholarship Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of New Jersey, to help seed the college aspirations of deserving high school students who show academic improvement by awarding them a scholarship in honor of Linda Murphy’s exemplary life.

Scholarship recipients will be assigned a mentor to help them navigate college life and prepare for academic and career success. Village Strivers program participants also have the opportunity to receive ETV support to connect them to internships and apprenticeships, as well as part-time and full-time jobs with partner organizations and businesses.
